Ron Miller Ron was born and raised in the Monterey Bay area of California.
He enlisted in the US Navy at age 18, and obtained a Bachelors degree in Business
Administration (Marketing) while on active duty. He retired from the Navy as a
Chief Petty Officer, and obtained his first US Coast Guard Masters license in
1964. Ron has operated charter vessels in SE Alaska for 10 years, and at other
times in Mexico, Hawaii, Washington, and California. His hobbies include flying,
photography, and cooking.

Stewardess and Co-Owner: Penni Manns Penni is a true connoisseur
of hospitality with twenty-five years of previous success in the Bed and Breakfast
industry. She owned and operated four extended-stay Bed and Breakfasts. These
included Seattle Guest House, where her warm and vivacious personality was a highlight
of guests. They could tell you of many warm experiences: shared conversations,
with over a cup of tea, freshly baked cookies left on the counter, flowers placed
on the nightstand, and an open-hearted family-like atmosphere. In addition
to being a sailing enthusiast with experiences in Puget Sound and Alaskan waters,
Penni has many years of experience traveling the Inside Passage. Her background
in the hospitality industry assures guests a highly relaxing and most memorable
cruise. Penni was also Art Coordinator and Director for the Boeing Airplane
Company for over seventeen years. Her innate design talent has transformed the
Caledonia into modern luxury motor yacht for your chartering pleasure in SE Alaska
and the Northwest. Penni has a love of life and a desire to share it with you!

Grown Naturalist: Richard Austin This three in one Alaska Native
American spent his college years in the lower 48 US states. He was born and raised
in Kake on Kupreanof Island. He has fished with his Grandfather since he was 3
years old. Richard knows where to find you the trophy sized King and Halibut,
or anything that swims! Your catch is vacuum packed and shipped to your home for
you to enjoy.

and Second Stewardess: Anna Simeon Anna is a certified naturalist
through the University of Alaska. As a seasoned kayaker, sailor, mountaineer,
and all-around outdoors enthusiast, she has grown up in Alaska and it's backcountry.
But while she enjoys all aspects of the wilderness, Anna's true passion is the
ocean. She recently returned from a transpacific scientific research cruise and
is currently studying at the University of California, San Diego with plans to
become an oceanographer. Anna has spent years in Alaska's coastal waters and is
happy to share her experiences and knowledge. She loves adventure and looks forward
to sharing yours aboard Caledonia.
